What we collect

When you send a booking request, a message or an owner assessment: name, email, phone, dates, number of guests, property details and the message you write.

We take no payment details on this site and use no advertising cookies.

Why we use it

To answer your request, manage your stay or management proposal, and meet legal duties — including the guest registration required for Portuguese holiday rentals (Alojamento Local).

Legal basis

Performance of a contract or steps you asked for before one (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Sharing

Data is stored with hosting providers in the EU/EEA or under adequate safeguards. We never sell data. The AI plan advisor processes only the property details you enter.

Retention

Enquiries and messages: up to 2 years. Booking records: as long as tax and holiday-rental law requires.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing, by writing to founder@habitatsrentals.com. You may also complain to the Portuguese authority CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
